Scott Steffan, Principal
Sound Video Lighting Solutions Inc. was created in 2005 by Scott Steffan, a sound, video and lighting systems designer with 17 years experience in systems design, project management, communications systems design, and facility design and construction. Scott has provided successful sound, video and lighting systems designs to projects of all sizes and budgets.
Scott brings to every project his relentless commitment to the client and his ability to transform any room into an experience. He understands that the interconnectedness of architecture, aesthetics, and acoustics in every venue is essential to effective sound, video and lighting systems design.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Engineering in 1991 and immediately began a 14 year career in the broadcast industry specializing in extensive studio design, construction and project management. With a background in engineering, Scott is a rare combination of technician and artist allowing him to coordinate all areas of the project.
Scott has always maintained an intense involvement in church technical ministries, which has fed his passion for excellent design in acoustics, sound, video and lighting systems for optimal communication within any venue.
Some of SVL Solutions current clients include West Shore Evangelical Free Church, Mechanicsburg PA with five performance venues, Calvary Church of Lancaster PA with multiple performance venues, Princeton University, Sidwell Friends School, and Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
Scott is a graduate of the internationally known Synergetic Audio Concepts sound systems and acoustic analyses courses and is a member of NSCA, IEEE, AIA, and CSI. He has 12 years practical experience mixing sound for live venues, and has been designing and implementing sound, video and lighting systems for churches, multi-purpose spaces and theatrical performance venues for 10 years.

Eric Seifert
Eric Seifert, through his company, Harmonic Design LLC, brings an accomplished 16 years experience in acoustic design, project management, and building/performance systems coordination, to SVL Solutions. Eric’s steady approach gives each client confidence that their purpose and vision will be heard and understood, and that he, along with the rest of the SVL team, will work tirelessly to create a design that fulfills the project’s mission.
Prior to forming Harmonic Design, Eric had been a partner and managing director of two large acoustic, theatrical, and audio systems consulting firms. In this capacity, he has provided expertise in acoustic design on a wide range of performing arts, entertainment, and religious facilities throughout the world, including the Toronto Centre for the Arts, Toronto, Ontario; ; the House of Music, Aalborg, Denmark; ; Concert and Conference Center, Reykjavik, Iceland;; Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, Brooklyn, New York; The Potter’s House, Dallas, Texas; and Stonebriar Community Church, Frisco, Texas. Current work includes the Victory Gardens Theater, Chicago, Illinois; several theaters in New Jersey, and new facilities for ministries in Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, and Louisiana.
Eric received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Engineering Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT), the Audio Engineering Society (AES), and is an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Andrew Homich
Andrew Homich, is the AutoCAD brains of the SVL Solutions team. He brings 6+ years experience in AutoCAD drafting and has proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software. He is known on our team for his creativity in design and attention to drawing details.
He has developed 3D modeling of spaces in design in order to show the client a more life like rendering of the proposed space.
He has won 10 awards in the past three years in AutoCAD project designs. |
